Timothy Bormann, CIH - Tim is Vice President of The Cohen Group, where he has been employed since 1984. He has over 23 years of experience in the occupational health and safety field. Tim graduated from University of California at San Diego with a BS degree in biology/physiology and minor in chemistry. He is an ABIH-Certified Industrial Hygienist, Cal/OSHA Certified Asbestos Consultant and EPA-accredited asbestos inspector, management planner, supervisor/contractor and project designer. Tim has been involved in numerous employee and employer training programs. He regularly conducts seminars for professional groups such as the California Metal Finishing Trade Association and Electrical Contractors Trust of Alameda County. He has conducted hundreds of health and safety inspections and audits for employers and has provided expert opinion during mediation of mold claims. Tim has served as the project manager for several multi-million dollar projects involving the remediation of contaminated materials.
