17th Annual Cal/OSHA Update Series

Joel Cohen, Bob Peterson, Esq., Lee Klein (recently retired Cal/OSHA District Manager), and Cal/OSHA representatives will be the speakers at this year’s 17h Annual Cal/OSHA Update seminar. The day-long seminar, which begins in February and is only offered once a year, will cover the significant Cal/OSHA regulatory changes and Cal/OSHA Appeals Board decisions that occurred in 2004.

In addition to the day-long program is a 2-hour early morning session designed specifically for contractors. This session will focus on problems unique to contractors such as what defenses are available to a general contractor or subcontractor to defend against citations issued under the "multi-employer" policy, what written safety programs you must have on site, how to prepare for a Cal/OSHA inspection.

A copy of the Cal/OSHA Source 2005 Supplement is included with the Cal/OSHA Update Seminar registration fee. The Cal/OSHA Source 2004, a comprehensive publication of more than 600 pages on the many rules and regulations of the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health will also be available.

For additional information, call California Safety Services Group at (800) 275-2774 or The Cohen Group office. Cohen Group clients are entitled to a 10 percent discount of the seminar registration fee regardless of the number of employees attending.
